Custom render resolution
I don`t know if it belongs here, but i have a question regarding the render resolution...
Is it somewhat possible to change the render resolution to my monitors native res (1600x1050)? I have only the choice between 3x PSP and 4xPSP, but nothing in between.
Emus like Dolphin offer render resultion like 3.5x for example.

RE: Custom render resolution
Why do you want to use a custom resolution ?
For example, 4x PSP is a little bigger than your monitor resolution, so you will get good visual results and this will not affect performances too much, nope ? Smile

RE: Custom render resolution
Auto + full screen, sets the rendering resolution to your screen resolution(well almost 1920x1080 in full screen is set to 1920x1088)
Auto set the rendering resolution to your window size

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1

RE: Custom render resolution
Yes, if I'm not mistaken, "Auto" choose the rendering resolution which is the closest to the window resolution.
So, it will probably do what I have said in my previous post Wink

RE: Custom render resolution
The prob is i have quite a weak PC (older AMD Quad core with 2,4Ghz and Gefaorce 8600GT). Even though on 3x PSP render res it runs smooth, it looks much sharper on 4x... Thats why i aked if there is a custom res between 3x and 4x that would be closer to 1600x1050...
BTW: i have v0.9.9.1... Would i get a performance boost if i`d use the newest version on my low end machine?

RE: Custom render resolution
v0.9.9.1 is old now, maybe you will experience better performance with newest builds, it depends on the games you play Smile
You can try the latest available Git build that you can find here >> http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/
