character ICON/avatar will never show up if you create new game from PPSSPP.
and for Overbloom fix, try set : Buffered Rendering to GPU or CPU.

normal Buffered Rendering will have overbright issue altough it was fixed.
(back then in the past emulator, the bloom effect made the game unplayable with Normal Buffered Rendering ON)

always set BR ON to GPU/CPU will have perfect lighting effect for this game.

All that will do is remove the bloom, so I wouldn't call that "perfect". The game is supposed to have quite a bit of bloom to it, but not as much as it used to have in old builds. Tongue

Yeah, The Dax say it right. The game was meant to have a a bit of bloom but you wont notice it if you play the game using the real PSP.

lol,
I thought that BR to GPU/CPU will reduced the bloom,
haha..

thanks for your correction.
IMO with BR to GPU/CPU have pretty nice graphic. combined with FXAA+color shader will be more have a very nice graphic.

Holy...! For real? You have to to finish the game once to be able to play the dlc? This is the case for ppsspp or it's also applied for the real psp?

Why you seem so suprised there? DLC will be playable after you finish all the story missions from Rank 1 to Rank 10 including the challenge rank, not all mission.

EDIT: Looks like I misread previous posts, it can never be displayed from PPSSPP anyways

Well, you can play the dlc missions kinda early in VC3 and MHFU so I was surprised.

unlike those games, GEB has a storyline you have to follow when you play and you must complete it first to unlock all the features available in the game before you can use DLC.

RE: God Eater Burst
Been a while since I've been on here....having a different issue with the game than I had before. Rather than it being functional, the whole emulator completely freezes just before the first FMV.

Using PPSSPP v0.9.8 64 bit version.
