Gods Eater Burst (US)
Couldn't find anything on this game yet. I'm using an Nvidia shield. Gods Eater Burst isn't playable due to the screen going black a few times each second with Frame Skipping enabled, as well as the character disappearing after a minute or two of gameplay.

Unfortunately, no. I wish. It looks like it corrupts the eboot (sets size to -11, and possibly other things but that's just what I noticed with a glance).

I added a hook to my local build which loads NPloader with PPSSPP to try and get the DLC 1.4+ to load, but I was disappointed because it needs special kernel functions which aren't implemented in PPSSPP, so it doesn't work right.

Ah, that's unfortunate, in short you did what I was going to try, but you saved me the hassle, thanks for the reply though Smile.

Putting this aside, I noticed one thing about this game and buffered rendering on the latest build; as for now I'm sticking with the v0.8.1-486-gb25c85f for a couple of reasons, but I decided to give a shot on one of the latest ones (v0.8.1-1065-gcbdd565), and there is something that is bugging me: on the graphic aspect I'm getting different results using the same settings, I made some screenshot to be more clear.

0.8.1-486-gb25c85f buffered rendering ON

0.8.1-1065-gcbdd565 buffered rendering ON

0.8.1-1065-gcbdd565 buffered rendering OFF

As you can see in the latter case I'm forced to switch off the buffered rendering, but this bring a more pixelated graphic, I also tried using all kinds of settings but with no positive results, also I'm already using filters. I hope that this is something that can be fixed, It could have an impact on other games aswell.

This is a known issue specific to GEB and has been present, for quite some time.

Refer to the following ppsspp github issue report I made about it quite sometime ago (it has a very long history of appearing and disappearing):-

https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/2678

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Not a problem. Github is actually the best place to report these issues, provided that you can make a clear and concise report on your specific issue.

You'll notice that the good ones (which are often dealt with quickly) have a logical structure and progression, with all the important details written into them, and also include logfiles, screenshots, and if necessary, video demonstrations of the issue if impossible to catch in a picture.

Yeah, I would like to give it a shot, but cause of the language barrier (along other things) I fear to be unclear, wasting the time of developers. Anyway I'll remember it for future games which could present some issues and are not yet present on github.

RE: God Eater Burst
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could get me past the "Hope" Mission, as I've tried using the older build, tried using jpcsp and it always stays at a black screen after the credits. If anyone could do this for me it'd be much appreciated! Smile

RE: God Eater Burst
I just found an updated God Eater Burst ISO which works wonderfully with 1.4+ DLC. Obviously, I can't link to it because it's not a legal download. I just thought I'd say it's out there. Gurlok seemed to be curious if there was a way to play 1.4+ DLC, and I'm sure at least some other users don't have real PSPs to update (since PPSSPP doesn't work with iso tool to properly update games yet).
