Maverick Hunter X - no input delay?

Hi folks--I was able to find this link to a cheat/hack that disables the input delay on moving right and left from a stop in Mega Man Powered Up, and i was wondering if something similar existed (or could be created) for Maverick Hunter X, which has the same issue. I unfortunately have no programming/hacking skill, so I can't do it myself.
