That is pretty interesting. Although it looks like the emulator still has a ways to go before playing commercial games properly. What's funny is that it's already having issues with Adreno GPU's rendering in OpenGLes3.0.

To be very honest, given the complexity of PS2 hardware, I believe that I'll see a working PS3 emulator before a working PS2 emulator...
Just wait for Galaxy S12.... Or S15... Maybe s20...?

Do you really think this device can emulate PS2 emulator smoothly.

With this specs.

Model A: AllWinner A31s (quad core, 1GHz Cortex A7 CPU, Power VR SGX 544 mp2 GPU)
Model B: RockChip 3188 (quad core, 1.6 GHz Cortex A9 CPU, ARM mali400 GPU).

Even PPSSPP struggling on Samsung Galaxy S3 with almost same specs.

Yeah, neither of those GPUs are good for PPSSPP, I'm sure they won't be good for a PS2 either. CPU is a slightly larger problem on the PS2 and quad core may help better than with PPSSPP, though.

We will need at least a Tegra X1 to run a PS2 emulator, and maybe won't be enough.
