Vulkan announced - new cross platform Graphics/Compute API

I will obviously write a Vulkan backend for PPSSPP, once implementations are available later this year. Hopefully this will mean considerably better performance on mobile devices that will support it.

It is said that all devices with OpenGL ES 3.1+ could support it, we will see what driver support becomes available.

It's similar in concept. Low overhead and lower level more to the hardware.
