PPSSPP 1.0

RE: PPSSPP 1.0
Something's wrong, I tried to play Ys VS Sora no Kiseki, (on my previous settings on .9.9 runs smoothly without lag and graphical issues) but when I tried it on 1.0, the screen flickers, and i cant even see the menu since the image from the loading screen still flickers, though i can still select from it since i can hear the selection sound, (by the way, my settings are Non-buffered rendering, hardware transform, vertex cache, fast memory, multithreaded and i/o on thread). Buffered rendering works okay but the quality doesn't satisfy me, so any ideas how can i play this with non-buffered rendering?

Just figured it, it was the vertex cache causing the flickering, disabling it will make the game okay again, sorry for the trouble. (I wonder why?)
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky has this problem as well. (Didn't have this problem on version .9.9.1)

RE: PPSSPP 1.0
I've been playing MHFU in .9.9.1 and it runs smoothly. Now I tweaked the settings in version 1.0 but for some reason the frameskipping slows down the fps. I haven't tried running other games with it though. When I play without frameskipping, I get 30 fps but with it, I get 4 fps.

RE: PPSSPP 1.0
Frameskipping will always reduce FPS. Turn on auto frameskipping to make it only do it when necessary (or when it thinks it's necessary, at least.)

the_randomizer, well, it'll update automatically soon from Google Play, that's probably the easiest way. To install from the site, I think you'll have to allow unknown sources at least and possibly remove the old version.

Cool cool, I'll wait around for the update then Big Grin Already have it enabled to install from unknown sources, so worst comes to worst, I'll download the apk file.

RE: PPSSPP 1.0
First off. I would like to sincerely congratulate and thank everyone involved in making this emulator happen. It's truly amazing.

Now on to my issue. Using my Galaxy Note 2 I have been unable to play a couple games on 9.9 (Good of war etc). But I was playing kingdom Hearts birth by sleep and it was working fine. Using no frames skip with non buffered ran perfectly. Now since 1.0 the cut scenes are freezing. Any ideas? What settings changes with the update might be causing this?

Does that affect Android x86 devices too or just PC platform?
Also which extensions of SSE?

I have been playing a lot last year in 4 player group, check your settings and ping with each other.

You should have: latest PPSSPP, fast memory off and firewall off(at least add firewall exceptions to PPSSPP and your VPN program). Everyone has to do this, if only you do it but the others don't it still won't work. You don't have to use 25% alternative speed trick anymore either.

Yes, where they support it. We use up to SSE4.1 depending on what your CPU supports, but even if your CPU only supports SSE2, this should still help (because we are parallelizing vfpu instructions in the jit now.)
