Save files
Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing issues with my save files. I started a game using PPSSPP and I've played it for sometime now. By using either save state or the original saving method of the game works fine as well as loading it. But my problem is that when I transferred my save file from the PPSSPP to my psp, the same game won't load my save file.

The way I transferred my save file was I just copied the save file from "ppsspp\memstick\PSP\SAVEDATA\ULUS105630680502102040001000" and transferred it to my PSP savedata folder.

Can anyone help?

RE: SAVE FILES
what you can TRY

1. copy that folder to FOR EXAMPLE desktop
2. delete gods eater burst save data folder ON psp
3. launch gods eater burst and make new save
4. copy OVER FILES FROM FOLDER you made in step 1 in to gods eater burst save data folder on psp (COPY FILES NOT WHOLE FOLDER)

5. SHOULD help but can have no effect

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

Still didn't work Sad Thank you for your help anyway.
I think that the way the ppsspp saves the file is off or different in some way than the psp. But that's a guest. Or my downloaded ppsspp has a bug? maybe?

Anyways, Thanks for your efforts. Appreciated it. Smile

RE: Save files
Are you 100% the games are of the same region? If you are transferring from US to EU versions of the same game or vice versa then most likely that would be the answer. Usually the difference between US and EU versions is that EU version have more language options while the US version is stuck with English. The only exception I can think of right now is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

Another possible reason is your PSP cannot load "encrypted saves". You can disable it in PPSSPP if you change this line in ppsspp.ini

EncryptSave = True
to
EncryptSave = False

Load your game and save again.

But I think it's the former, it usually is at least.

The game in my psp and ppsspp are of the same version, and I tried the other method you said. It turn out that the psp now reads the save data as corrupted. Sad
