Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Up until a couple days ago the game had been running fine, I could play for hours at a time and it was okay. Now whenever I open that same game it will freeze up after a few seconds and then stop responding. My computer runs on Windows 8 but it hasn't had a problem until now. All the drivers are up to date as well.

Just for a test(while ppsspp is not running),go to memstick\PSP\SYSTEM and move\delete to the recycle bin both files and try the game again.

If the game is not working again,restore the files.
Does this happen only on this game or?

deleting the folder did nothing. I haven't had the time to download and try a new game just yet.
