PPSSPP 0.9.9+ "breaks" some games?
Hi guys, first post Smile

I have Asus MemoPad FHD 10 w/ Intel Z2560, PowerVR SGX544MP2 and 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2.

In PPSSPP settings i only checked Simulate block transfer (in new one), prevent fps from exceeding, hardware transform and multithreading. Everything else is unchecked. I run it at 2xPSP resolution. And most of the games run fine, but there are some problems with the newer versions.

With 0.9.8 Tetris is completely playable, but in 0.9.9+ the screen becomes blocky no matter what the settings.

The same seems to be happenig with Silent Hill Origins, but I've deleted it before comparison. Also, NFS MW 501 and NFS Underground Rivals works better in 0.9.8 (in newer there are some weird bugs) but it will never run w/o Hardware Transform checked.

Now, I think this is all because either Intel CPU or PowerVR GPU, but idk Smile

I would use 0.9.8 but I want to play Dangan Ronpa which doesn't work properly with 0.9.8. I doubt there's a way to fix this, but I would still like to know if there is.

If not, I hope it will be fixed in future releases.

EDIT: build 0.9.9.1-937-g473f388 and later revisions fixed it.

No, he's right. Something is wrong with these latest builds.

Here's a video of Dragonball Tenkaichi Tag Team running on the latest build (v0.9.9.1-936-g811a27a):
