Would a windows net book run the emulator better than an android tablet? Would it have the same issue with the audio that it has on android tablets

What's the problem on android tablets? I have an android game console(JXD s7800b), but it works good on emulator games.

YES, I have a JXD S7800B too. It runs very fast!

Depends on the GPU in the Android device, as you can see I have a PowerVR which is a pain in the rear end for the developers to find a way of using the full potential of it, so far that is, I am hoping they can find a way of improving the speed of the emulator, so I must be patient. Undecided
Edit: I noticed your spec's of the JXD s7800b are Quad core 1.6Ghz CPU, with Mali-400MP4 (4 cores GPU as well) - 2Gig of DDR3 ram - No wonder it runs well. Cool

Hi there,

Well looking at the spec's of that tablet, its looking pretty good: 1.2Ghz Quad core CPU (Arm7), with 1.5 Gig Ram, but the graphics chip is by Vivante (I will be honest, never heard of this one before), which according to there website, says its a OpenGL 3.0 chipset, which if true SHOULD make PPSSPP run very well. (What do the developers think?). Huh

This device isn't meant for gaming to be honest (being A7 in mid 2014).
It won't run most games at a decent speed.

RE: windows netbook performance vs android tablet
I don't know if I netbook can run PPSSPP. At least the netbooks sold here use Intel GPU, they don't support OpenGL ES 2.0. So any tablet with OpenGL 2.0 (the most) is better than a netbook FOR USING PPSSPP.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

You can tack on another condition to that "if you run windows" most of the intel GPUs seem to have linux drivers with OpenGL 2.0 support (MESA and whatnot)

RE: windows netbook performance vs android tablet
Netbooks tend to have crappy integrated video graphics cards. They won't run many things OpenGL fast and have rendering issues.

RE: windows netbook performance vs android tablet
I think the netbook's gpu doesn't support OpenGL ES 2.0 at all.

It depends on the netbook. Most older netbooks with Intel Integrated video only support up to OpenGL 1.4, but newer ones with AMD or Intel Video gpu hardware do support OpenGL 2.x and above. But still, their support is limited in performance and api features.
