I don't have any good ideas, I'm afraid. I would try getting the latest version, unpacking it to its own folder, and moving the memstick folder there to make sure there aren't any problems with the flash0 folder. Also consider updating your graphics drivers if you have a buggy version.

I only use PPSSPP on Windows.

Make sure you have the latest version. Also try Buffered Rendering in Setting>Graphics>Buffered Rendering.

RE: Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy
Today I went to load my savefile and then the game started a nonstop flickering at the main screen.

Did I lose everything?????

Happening in all revs 8.1 onwards

Was playing in 8.1.192, happened after updating to latest 300+ rev

Here's my savefile and game dlc folder if anyone could test them for me: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0...sp=sharing

I'm pretty much pissed off being stuck at the main screen after choosing the savefile then seeing a nonstop flickering. The game doesn't even loads.

Video of what happened: http://youtu.be/2RIG9MnW-pk
I want my 10 hours back.

All fine here on v0.8.1-367-g1c7038f on a Windows 64bit build.

No flickering on the main menu and loading works properly.

Tested with rig in signature.

RE: Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy
I was able to play properly. I'm not having problems with settings, the issue is with the savefile that some 3xx rev managed to corrupt.

RE: Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy
Backup your saves next time, also you can just cheat and pretty much unlock everything you had before in about 5 minutes anyway.

Also Solarmystic, have you found a setting that stops the random blackscreens from happening during the cutscenes? NOTE: I haven't had a chance to try any of the newer build from today from about 330 onward, but maybe you know something that I don't like something in the .ini file, because this bug has been stopping me from playing this game and I want to so bad, oh god the itch to play this with a controller finally is so bad right now.

This is still an issue in the latest builds, unfortunately. No setting that I know of helps with this issue.

I was right in the middle of the story mode after customizing a lot of my characters. Heck, I'd even pay to have MY progress back.

I can load that savefile in JPCSP but not in PPSSPP. I have never played Dissidia 012 in JPCSP before.

Ok, what's the deal? JPCSP can handle War of the Lions, FFIV and Dissidia's savefiles with no problem but PPSSPP refuses to do so?

We need a tool to encrypt/decrypt save files urgently.

RE: Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy
I don't know what to tell you then, you are using dev builds that change 20 times in one day, they are untested, not considered stable and are very experimental, when you download and use them you pretty much need to expect things can and will break and bugs could crop up, so leave your anger at the door when things happen like this because your the one jumping from unstable build to unstable build every day. Also WTF at being angry that you lost 10 hours of your life, your playing a video game for crying out loud, you know to have fun and waste time, start over and have fun and waste some more time. Like I said earlier, you can cheat back your lost progress in a matter of minutes and just turbo through the story in probably an hour to get back to where you were.

On the topic of unstable builds, r343 broke compatibility with DirectInput controllers, so if you use one of those don't update until they fix this.

I only use PPSSPP on Windows.

I skipped 140 revs in order to test if they fixed War of the Lions and FFIV save problems. I mean, 140 revs of downgrading, seriously?

At least auto-backup our saves then

Even after re-saving it with JPCSP the flickering shit keeps happening with PPSSPP

I want my characters and parties back Sad

I work every day in a very stressful job. Those hours were a few hours of many days that managed to give me some R&R. I feel no joy doing what I've already done. I feel stressed doing that.

If I were to start over Dissidia, I would give it up and pick something less stressful.

An hour wasted means a day wasted to me. Also, the 'enemy kill' cheat only works for the US version.
