Some questions and suggestion

Some questions and suggestion
1.Is there is some way to disable the message that shows at what resolution ppsspp is currently running or at least tell me why when I go full screen(F11)I get 3(sometimes 4)messages one after another with different resolution and 2 or 3 when I exit full screen...I also get them when I resize\maximize\restore the window(it's kinda annoying waiting for them to disappear(sometimes whole screen is covered with messages))

2.Sometimes ppsspp freeze and you can't stop the game. You have to either exit the program or first pause the emulation and then stop it...wouldn't it be better the "Stop" menu to act as pause=>stop
Pause=>Stop always work.

3.Can you make the language menu into some submenu or shrunk it somehow...it would be nice the menu to contains only menus for the language files that exist.

RE: Some questions and suggestion
No, the language menu will not be moved into a submenu. However, the idea of making sure the files actually exist before adding languages to the menu isn't a bad one. On that note though, why bother deleting the language files? That would only save you like 200kbytes of space, if that.

Yes, I agree the OSMs about rendering resolution are way too spammy, and could use some adjustment.

As for #2, I have no opinion on it either way, so I'll refrain from answering in any detail on it.

RE: Some questions and suggestion
It's not about space but menus...I've never been a fan of long\wide menus

I only use English and the menu is placed in the same place where the settings menu was and I automatically click there...to fix that I just rename the "Language" menu to simple "L" and "Game Settings" to "Settings" and now everything is fine but still, that long menu(720px height)bothers me.

Btw can I rename the the "Using save state slot" OSM text?

RE: Some questions and suggestion
Sure, just edit your language's ini file. If you mean for the PPSSPP-lang repository to make an official change, "Using save state slot" is pretty succinct, so I don't really see a reason to change it..

Oh, it's not even translatable. That's not good.

RE: Some questions and suggestion
I opened a pull request to make it translatable, and I shortened it to "Savestate Slot" since it'll be more translation friendly("Savestate Slot: 1" for example).

RE: Some questions and suggestion
I also put in another pullrq to make the resize messages less spammy.

It'll still show when you enter/exit fullscreen(only once, unless you hold the hotkey, nothing I can do about that), change some settings in the pause screen or select a resolution/window size.

RE: Some questions and suggestion
No prob. As for #2, the stop button issue, I made an issue about it on Github. I'm not that great with threading, so I doubt I'll solve it by myself.

RE: Some questions and suggestion
About #2
This is what happens now with 0.9.1-1248 x86
1.Delete the existing setting(to make sure it not settings related...I have a lot of ppsspp version in the same folder)
2.Start a game

If the game is running fine, using Emulation=>Stop will almost always act as closing the window(actually crashing without saving the settings)...rarely with Send\Don't Send Dialog
Using Emulation=>Stop after ppsspp freeze on some game(Dead Head Fred for example always freeze so I can test on it),shows the Send\Don't Send dialog

And like before,if you first use Emulation=>Pause and then Stop,it exit the game fine

RE: Some questions and suggestion
I already answered on Github, but I wasn't able to reproduce either of those crashes. If someone else could, it'd be good to know..

Edit: This seems to be 32-bit only. Now that gives me something to work with.

RE: Some questions and suggestion
IF ANYONE COMES UP WITH "error code 80110307" and it has to do with the memory card. press "o" then when it has another message
"req 550kb save continues Y/N" SELECT Y and press "x". whoever saved the rom for it prob took the iso as it was returning to menu. and since there was no save file(for you at least) there is nothing to save onto.QED. it took me awhile to fiddle around with the options....I CANT BELIEVE NOONE posted this fix....i know its stupid simple, but dont squelch your threads with out a proper ending.
