RE: Backgrond/Field depth
This may be a problem specific to a certain game. Which game is it?

Have you made sure your graphics drivers are up to date?

RE: Backgrond/Field depth
try to hit F5 and restart game or emu

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

RE: Backgrond/Field depth
Can you post a screenshot? (or a video, if possible.) I've tried fiddling with all the settings and I can't reproduce the problem. I mean, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact has nasty pop-up problems (the parts of the background/stage a few meters away from your character can't be seen/won't be rendered until you get close enough to it) but it's not a bug because that's how it behaves even on a real PSP.

Main PC: Pentium g2020 (Ivy Bridge dual core, 2.9 ghz), Intel HD Graphics, 4 GB DDR3 Ram (3.5Gb usable), W7 64bit
Secondary PC: C2D e8400 (dual core 3.0 ghz), nVidia GT 240 GDDR5, 4 GB DDR2 Ram, W7 64bit
Laptop: AMD Turion X2 (dual core 1.80 ghz), ATI Xpress 1150 IGP, 2GB DDR2 SDRAM (1.7GB usable), W7 32bit
