Have you tried updating your version of the emulator, the version on the official download site for this emulator is the same version found on the google play store its now on: v0.9.9.1 - Found here: http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html
But if you want the latest nightly development build: its at the bottom of that page of that link or found here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php

See of that works better, if not let us know. Cool
