RE: Could I run PPSSPP with a netbook
Unlikely. A Google search shows that that netbook has an Intel GMA 950 (or it did in the search I did..), which only supports OpenGL 1.4.

RE: Could I run PPSSPP with a netbook
You could get it anyway, and wait for the DirectX backend, but it hasn't been updated in quite some time (Henrik is focusing on OpenGL until it's pretty much complete and the graphical emulation code is cleaned up so that we can support more backends cleanly). I'd recommend looking for something else. If you can get a netbook with Nvidia Ion, it should be better, as they support OpenGL 3.3 or higher out of the box.

RE: Could I run PPSSPP with a netbook
Intel GMA950? 1.4 on Windows, but 2.1 on Linux. So if you would install linux on it, you quite likely could run ppsspp on it, but with windows - no chance. Edit: and yeah, angle build is buggy and ogl 3.30 + will give way better results in quite a few gamesSmile.

RE: Could I run PPSSPP with a netbook
Even if it supports 2.1 on Linux, it'd still be awfully slow. The GMA 950 was one of the slowest GPUs I ever had the "pleasure" of using like 9 or 10 years ago.

RE: Could I run PPSSPP with a netbook
Probably would depend heavilly on the linux distro, popular ones are very cluttered, but there are alot of lightweight linux distros, I could easily see somebody installing a linux purely for ppsspp without any heavy stuff that tries to be a windows clone:].
Anyway op didn't really said he was going to buy that laptop, I guess it would be logical to simply try when having something pointing to such questions be related to buying, but then again I'm used to seeing people asking before trying in the forums, so my bad.^_^
