Smooth Games [ANDROID]

[Gigapact]

Hey guys,

I'm running an PPSSPP on the droid, and I'm having fun with the emulator so far. Some games that I want to play are awfully big, though, with no guarantee that they would run smoothly. As I understand the emulator is still in its beta stage, can Android users please post a list of games that you have been playing that:

-Runs pretty smoothly with little / minimal lag / fullspeed.
-Is able to complete the game with relative ease (without any major issues that hamper gameplay)
-Audio is not that big a factor, but it would be good.
-(i.e Near perfect emulation not factoring in audio- I know the list is relatively small, bit I can't seem to find smooth games so far.)

There is a Playable List, but as I'm relatively new to PPSSPP I know that some of them can still have some issues, it would be great if you guys could help me out by posting games that you've had success with. Please also post your device specifications if you can, as I'm considering getting a new phone sometime soon. Thanks!

Code:

Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7105 Rooted Stock Android 4.1.2 QUAD CORE @ 1.6GHz

[Mods, if this is in the wrong forum, please feel free to move it. ]

Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team. Best performance with one on one.

Thanks! Anything else? I'll give this a go.

Hey
New to ppsspp?
The android versions of the emulator has a much lower compatibility with many games
There are a few games that run pretty smoothly on lower end android phones
By lower end I mean a decent dual/quad core with 512 mb ram
A single core phone will not run games smoothly
Maybe just a few

Working 100% speed(Android)
0.9.8
Dbz shin 2
Fifa street 2
Fight Night 3
Spiderman 2
Lord of arcana
Soul caliber
Miami Vice
Gladiator begins
3rd birthday

0.9.5
Tenkaichi tag dbz (only works on ver. 0.9.5-7
D12: Final Fantasy (works on 0.9.8 but lags less on 0.9.5)

My specs
Noir A10 android
arm7 1ghz quad core 512mb ram
Power VR

Settings I Use

System--+
Fast men (on)
Multi thread(on)
Io on thread(on) (sometimes disabling this may give better performance)
Graphics--+
Non buffered rendering( buffered render for Sf alpha/ fight night/ dead2rights/fight night)

Frame skip (off)
Alternative speed (25%)

Features ( all off)
Performance (all on except retain textures)
Texture filter (auto)

Hacks all on( except depth write)

These settings should work with all games I've tested(android)

Sf alpha max 3 works great too

I would recommend you Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, but you are already playing it

Yeah, surprisingly enough, I quite like this game.
Glad to see that there actually quite a few nice titles running nicely on the emulator. I'll be downloading some of them to play once I get home and have access to a computer.
I've looked at quite a few PSP games, and can any one tell me, if they've played this if they've had any success with it? Thanks.

Crisis Core- FF
Persona 2
Trails in the Sky
P3P (I know this is said to run pretty decently, but personally how was it like?)

Also, didn't know who I could forget to put in my specs. Done and added in first post.

I tried crisis core. Had problems on my s3. Amazingly flickering screen no matter what I tweaked. And by the way, DBZTTT is not only playable on 0.9.5-7. I use a seperate PPSSPP Gold (to have two vers at once) apk on ver 0.9.6.

[Gigapact]

Hmm? I've seen videos of crisis core on an Xperia Z (1.5GHz) and even S4(1.9GHz) with little or no lag after doing some digging on the interwebs, it seems to run fine. Is it maybe an S3 specific problem or because of CPU capabilities? :/

Either way, thanks for replaying and helping me out. I'll probably just get the game to work with and see how it runs, considering that have just upgraded my MicroSD to a bigger, albeit still relatively small 8GB one. I'll post whatever I find! Meanwhile if any of you guys can help me on the above listed games, that'll be cool.

I meant for my phone dbz runs smoothly only on ppsspp 0.9.5-7
After that version it lags
So yeah it works different on different devices

[mercereno]

i have a nexus 5 (quad core 2.3 GHz) tekken 6 runs Perfectly after tweaking settings a bit

[finalfantasyfreak]

I have played and still play crisis core final fantasy 7 it does have some lag to it but I am working on finding the best setup so it won't lag.

I run the gold ppsspp app on my lg optimus l70 android 4.4 kitkat 1.2 Ghz Dual-core Processor
