Newbie! Can you somehow save on actual save slots in PPSSPP?
So is there a way to actually save a game in some sort of file? I just finished Phantasy Star Portable 2 and after finishing the story mode the game requires you to save. if u don't then you have to start all over from your last save point, and since i have been using save states only, i have nothing in my actual game slots. Every time it asks you to save, when you try it it says "Storage media used to launch the game has been removed. please insert original storage media if you with to save."

Which means i can't even play the game anymore or unlock the side story missions. Can anyone help me on this? I made a save state right where it asks you to save, so if there's a way, than i can do it.

This happens if you:
1.Create a save state
2.Then create normal save
3.Load the save state

From then on,the game will always give you that error.
To fix it,just delete the save from memstick\PSP\SAVEDATA and you will be able to save.

While I was playing the game,I always overwrite the old save state after I save using the game saving function(otherwise I would get that error)

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM

Batch iso <=> cso converter

So I'm answering hre.

ryanhurrr Wrote:how exactly do you "overwrite" the save state you made before doing an actual game save?
?
There is nothing for you to worry about anymore.
Just continue the game normally and if you want to save using the game saving function,you will also have to create a new save state or overwrite the old one(otherwise you'll get the same error again and you will have to delete the save again)

Overwriting means saving in a slot that already have save state created there
