RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
Hi guys, downloaded the ppsspp few weeks ago and just updated to the latest build as well. Was wondering if anyone experienced game crashing when you hear the sound of death's bell. Tried all the setup of ppsspp and it keeps freezing when i hear it. Btw using a samsung galax note 10.1 (not the 2014 model)

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
Is is just me or does persona 3 crash randomly approx once every hour? On windows its fine and I've yet to run into problems but on my Nexus 5 it just says "ppsspp has crashed" once in a while. This only happens when you're in tartarus and seems to not happen in battles.

The game in tartarus gradually slows down the more time you spend in it, and eventually crashes.

@uilregit, does it help to savestate/loadstate when it slows down?

nope you resume at the speed you saved at

also the crashing isn't fixed either by sav/loadstate

Persona 3
While exploring Tartarus only the mini map and controls are displayed (no actual scenery or characters) except for battle situations. Running the game on android mobile, could it be settings that need adjusting? Missing files? Not enough processing power??

too bad that Disable Alpha test was gone.
But enabling "Alpha Mask Hack" will solve that issue.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
Has anyone been able to complete this game on an Android device from beginning to end with minimal issue? I have played it on my Droid Ultra for approximately 3 hours or so and the only issue I've had is occasionally crashing while in Tartarus. Not sure why this is because the game runs excellent otherwise. I was just curious if anyone has completed it on Android because I REALLY don't want to invest a large amount of time into a game that I won't be able to complete.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
But disabling the fastmem option doesn't solve the crashing in Tartarus?

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
hmm, I already finished this 3x.....
Ofc, with crash issues (make sure you savestate on every floor)

Are you playing it with frameskipping?
[I heared, fast mem+frameskip causes crashes on some games]

Disabled frameskip, still crashing every couple of minutes in Tartarus, floor 7. Game is basically unplayable. Any suggestions?

My problem is when I played as a female protagonist, the screen become black but the music still on and the emu not crash. It's appear to become black after when Ryoji came to the school as a new student (11/9). After Ryoji done introduced himself, it's started to black after I choose one of the choices "Stay Awake, Doze off" (It's started to black after school but the emu was okay and the music still played) ... I use ppsspp emu (0.9.8) on my android device.. Hope you can help me... ??
