PPSSPP worked on XP,not on windows 7
PPSSPP used to work when I had XP but since i upgraded it keeps giving the error of "stopped working" although it shows the code of the iso(ULJ something) and the emu version.I think I'm missing something like runtime or who knows, nvidia drivers are up to date. Here are my currently installed programs(attachament)

No change I tried compatibility troubleshoot,it recommended service pack 2,it didn't worked with that either so I chose scan issues and said "incompatible application"

on xp i had lots of drivers installed for different programs so I guess it's one of them that is missing(like framework etc) |

Hmm, I really wish I could see a stack trace. I wonder if we should start using breakpad or something...

RE: PPSSPP worked on XP,not on windows 7
how to get stack trace?I tried using the inbuilt log but it doesn't show any crash since it's windows who is closing the program not emu crashing

RE: PPSSPP worked on XP,not on windows 7
Currently, without compiling it yourself, there's no real way. If the zip included the .pdb you could at least use windbg... which isn't really easy to use anyway.

Looks like the NVS 110 missed the boat on the latest and greatest OpenGL drivers:
https://developer.nvidia.com/opengl-driver It lists the 120. Unfortunately, I don't know OpenGL well enough to know what could be wrong, but it's possible that the desktop one needs a higher version than OpenGL 2.1.2. -[Unknown] |

Did you try the latest revisions?
--> http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html Because I have seven too and I had problems with the 0.6 and 0.7 versions ("stopped working" or "openGL error") and Henrik fixed it up in the recent revisions. |
