RE: Is my phone decent enough to use the PPSSPP?
Share us more information like processor and gpu model, only the clock speed isn't enough to know. Your RAM is ok, even 512mb could run it well. PPSSPP only recognizes ISO and CSO files, then PSN games aren't supported.

That's actually wrong - eboot.pbp's are supported from a very long time and they work just fine, same if not better than iso and cso containers, aside of those, prx and elf files are also supported directly althrough that's mostly for homebrew. RE: Is my phone decent enough to use the PPSSPP?
Oh sorry, I forgot that. But PPSSPP still has problems when will execute eboot.pbp files, at least when I tried some DEMOs, it said was missing a kind of file.

RE: Is my phone decent enough to use the PPSSPP?
If you think it is a problem with the format support, you should rather open an issue on github when you encounter it because left unnoticed nobody will ever fix it. However it could be other problem, including unfinished/corrupted download especially if you got it from some random site.
I can just say I had no problem with pbp's of my games downloaded from psn. Eboot.pbp with a full game is just a compressed container like cso, so as long as the game would work in other formats, it should also work in pbp. It can also be repacked to iso, althrough there's no benefit doing so unless required for fan translations and patches. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Is my phone decent enough to use the PPSSPP?
Henrik and other devs already knows this issue, it happens with many DEMOs. Look at Demo Compatibility topic and you will see many games that can't start because of this issue.

RE: Is my phone decent enough to use the PPSSPP?
@GuilhermeGS2 well not me, but you might want to check the dates on those threads in demo section as they are terribly outdated and not maintained, and also should check issues on git since anything related was fixed and closed like year and a half ago and from what I saw wasn't even a problem with pbp format in the first place.
So again @iKlNG native psp eboot.pbp's are working fine, as long as the game itself doesn't have problems, it should run same well downloaded of psn as it would dumped from umd. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |
