I think your device is a bit on the low end for Android devices that can run PPSSPP. Hmm. Just tried non buffered mode on my tablet and the map still shows up correctly. Probably a driver or compatibility issue between your device and PPSSPP. |

RE: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Just got my HTC One (M8) with the Snapdragon 801 chipset running the Adreno 330 GPU. This device has rendering issues with this game in both Buffered and non-buffered settings. Most of the graphics are missing when using the latest dev builds. Was working somewhat better in previous builds. The game doesn't show any of the menus, maps, or items. The opening cinematic only shows the flying plane and not the dialogs and characters. I've already tried resetting all the settings back to default and the issue remains. Uninstalled reinstalled nada.
Works fine on my Shield Tablet though. Qualcomm drivers are still crap I presume. |

Hi there, Have you created an issue on the github yet for your new device, upload a screen shot of the CPU extension's & the other 2 screens, of the new device, then upload the same CPU extensions screen for your tablet, that may be of use to compare the two devices. To see what is missing from the new device. The developers might be able to see what's causing the graphics problems. |

This particular game will not render correctly on Adreno GPU devices with any render resolution above 1x. I've confirmed it on my Note 3 and M8. Works perfectly fine at 4x resolution on my Shield Tablet, but not 5x. |

RE: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Hi there the developers of this AWESOME emulator !
1) I'd like to mention that the HUD scaling issue (HUD disappearing when res is above 2x) is still present (v0.9.9.1-885). However tha game works very well BUT... 2) I have an issue with radio. It takes up to 30 sec for radio music to start playing every time I take a car or switch a radio station. On a real PSP music starts immediately. The issue happens on every of hundreds settings combinations I tried. Windows 7. Intel Quad q9505 3.4 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, GT9800 1 Gb |

Im sorry but id have to make a joke "Does not compute" Well my joke would be esy to understand i have the gta chinatown wars for ps and ds and it took 15 seconds to load on nintendo ds (original retail game) and it takes 35 seconds to load a music in psp loading trough a UMD if the emulator is based on umd game loading then the load time is fine, now if you are using a hacked psp that loads from psp memstick then it takes 20 seconds the game is really bad done. This is why i said "Does not Compute" because if you really have a psp and the retail game the load time doest change no matter what hack you try to do the music in the game wont load inmediately it takes seconds to load |

That is cool ! - DX9 works fine BUT has some minor bugs. I noticed rarely flickering shadows (on OGL too) and some lighting effects that do not work properly - cop car blue/red flashes do not reflect on ground/walls, cars (OK with OGL). - The radio music delay is not as big as earlier (10-30 sec before, ~10 sec now) but it is STILL PRESENT and still very annoying |

26.03.2015
v1.0.1-221-g62e621f - sound and music is TOTALY crewed up ! In cutscenes sound appears for 1 second and disappears. Intro video is fine. There are some sound during gameplay, but 90% are gone. Every time I switch radio station or enter a vehicle music appears for a half of second with LAG. - resolution scaling with OpenGL now works great ! |

RE: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
So, there are really bad things going on here
ppsspp-v1.0.1-757-g73e9c3b - game is now lagging with both backends and minimum resolution - sounds appear/reappear almost randomly - all sound disappears when I switch to most of radiostations (tried all sound settings combination) - still 10-30 sec delay when I enter a car or switch to a couple of stations that work. Windows 7. Intel Quad q9505 3.4 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, GT9800 1 Gb |
