RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Hello, I need some help. When i start the game using ppsspp 0.9.9.1, the title screen seems fine but there's no words in the main menu, create character menu. I patched the iso file with the TMO 5.0 patch and patcher 1.6.3. Is there any specific setting to play this game?

They are NOT compatible with each other. Re-patch a clean and unpatched HD version ISO with the PS3 version of the patch instead, and the text should work. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I just got back into this game and got two high leveled cats and I'm wondering if they could be better.
* Does Health Flute and True Health Flute "Stack"? * Is a cowardly cat better than my loyal one due to faster recovery and in combination with speedy recovery? Also it's angle of attacking monsters. * Since a Pacifist cat doesn't help with attacking, is that compensated by something useful? Why are they recommended as flute cats when cowardly cats heal faster underground? Cat 1 Weapon Only (hammer) Small First Loyal Shock Trap Workaholic Speedy Recovery Cat 2 Pacifist Small Sooner Cure Flute True Health Flute Trap Bombing Copycat I'd really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on my questions! |

@sirwiin try with d3d9 backend and use latest git build , and disable software skinning , look at this post http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...3#pid94453 , my ancient laptop almost can run it full speed
Experimenting with adhoc over internet system through Amultios custom ppsspp fork, find me in game Monster Hunter Freedom : Lucis Monster Hunter Freedom Unite : Lucis Monster Hunter Portable 3rd: Lucis |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Does anyone have the files for the downloadable quests anywhere? It appears I've arrived a bit late and the Team Maverick website seems to be emptied of the files, I'm trying to search around and can't seem to find it anywhere.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Is this really so demanding? I can play all previous versions at full speed. Can I run it on my PC with full speed?
Just tested it, I get stable 30 fps in town, so I presume it will work the same on the battlefield. Default emulator settings. Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 OC @ 3.0GHZ stock cooling Ge-Force GTX 260 896mb 4GB RAM Corsair 1066mhz Windows 7 X64 ultimate |

For your computer which has adequate specifications for ppsspp, it might not be that demanding at default settings. But a lot of people nowadays still have pretty crappy pc's (Slow as heck CPU or those who don't have dedicated GPU's). As I can see, a lot of users here play ppsspp on their laptops and most of those laptops struggle with emulation (especially those who have Intel Atom CPU's). Try setting the rendering resolution to more than the default settings. You can also upscale textures and apply a myriad of post processing effects.
