RE: God Eater Burst
The game is really straight forward.
All of the time you do:
1.Play missions(storyline or free)
2.Talk to the people in the other floors in the base which triggers a cut scene and from then on,you continue the game

I clear the whole game(117 hours)without any game breaking bugs(it was crashing\freezing but rarely)

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM

RE: God Eater Burst
Maybe the black screen is for Intel GMA 3600 only?

My netbook specs:
Lenovo Ideapad S110
Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit SP1
Intel Atom Processor N2600 ~4 cores~ 1.6GHz
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 Series
1GB RAM

RE: God Eater Burst
The Intel GMA 3600 is based on the PowerVR SGX 545 which apparently has horrendous gaming performance on Windows. Driver support is also apparently whacked out, even though it supports up to OpenGL 3.0.

I wouldn't be surprised if its compatibility with the various games in PPSSPP is even more limited as compared to the usual Intel Integrated HD Graphics series which has better drivers and overall support from Intel.

More details here:-
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Graph...198.0.html

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

RE: God Eater Burst
nah.... GEB can run well in my laptop in v0.9.8, i think before they actually added the block transfer feature in PPSSPP. Also GMA 3600 doesn't support games with high-end graphics (Call of Duty, Need for Speed and watchdogs are consider high-end graphic games). It can support games with low-end graphics and PPSSPP is actually one of those low-end graphics programmes.

Actually, it depends on the game. You're not wrong that a majority of PSP games only require basic OpenGL 2.0 support to be emulated, but some require OpenGL 3+ which is not low-end at all. Intel cards seem to have trouble in those situations when OGL 3.x functionality is required. SBT is also not exactly a lowend feature either, and it's rather telling that Intel cards have issues with the feature.

The key is driver support.

Ah i see...

Guess i have to use older version of PPSSPP to play GEB for now since it runs well there

RE: God Eater Burst
Is there any fixes for this? It only appears on this snow stage, and in the underground subway stage with the lava, in the lava stage the white thing is at the top, in the snowy one its at the bottom.

RE: God Eater Burst
@Scyris this looks like you're using some hacks or "read framebuffers to memory" both of which ruins more than could possibly ever improve;p. Buffered rendering is always best and no hacks.

In this game also lower res gives much better results, because games from this series create their own bloom effect which get's bad above native and looks just terrible at high res.

RE: God Eater Burst
The game is perfectly playable in non-buffered rendering...you'll get more speed remove some bugs and some special effects(don't even know which they are,I cleared the whole game with non buffered rendering)

You may also try the new option "Disable slower effects" while using buffered rendering but I don't know if it will help(never tried it)

RE: God Eater Burst
When I try to put my PSP save file to my PPSSPP SAVEDATA directory, once I try to load up the save file, it automatically brings me back to the main menu. Character picture is blurry as well. I have a clean .iso game, ripped straight from my psp as well as the DLC downloaded, and put into my GAME folder but it still won't load my PSP data. Any fix for this? I don't want to throw away my 240hrs save file, I have so many bullet recipes saved in there Tongue
