Or perhaps your game is [EU]? I tested this on [US]. EDIT: Yeah, I figured the patch for [ULUS-10297] (US version) isn't going to work with [ULES-00850] (EU version) I added a link for [EU] patch in the tutorial! RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
This game doesn't need read framebuffers to memory anymore for viewing the tavern graphics, nor the world map graphics when opening the menu, as of v0.9.8-1163-g547f2a1. Note that Simulate Block Transfers needs to be turned on, or the graphics will still be missing.

Btw with the changes in the build today for texture scaling you can actually use it now without the game becoming a slideshow.

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Mine looks awfully pixelated, I know its a psx game, but still its really pixelated, to the point where you can't read the text, I can't even pass the main screen due to that, I have buffered rendering and Simulate block transfer on, I'm on the 9.9 version but I tried older version as well and I had the same issue, my device its a razr i (android x86) any ideas?

It's been a long time since i've stop playing... Back to game and after some new versions of PPSSPP (i'm with v0.9.9), I noticed the text is very pixelated. It wasn't like that before. As you, I'm playing in a Razr I too. I kinda solved the pixelated fonts issue... System > Restore PPSSPP's settings to default. Then: buffered rendering[b] [b]simulate block transfer ON frameskipping off (dind't tried it yet) Postprocessing shader i use Natural Colors Stretch to display Rendering resolution 1x PSP (as default) (...) anisotropic filtering 16x (i believe this decreased de pixel effect on fonts texture filtering AUTO |

That's definitely not happening for me on Windows, even with all the mentioned settings and a few others toggled to try to reproduce.

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
No problem here, though in menu, I noticed there's a green shadow on white texts. It's been there since I played it with 0.9.8.
Anyway, about the pixelated problem, does changing "rendering resolution" solve it? WATCH MY MHFU GAMEPLAY VIDS AT: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheBarbanium Have I been helpful to you in any way, nya? You can click that "+" button ▼ to raise my reputation, meow! |

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
This is a pretty big thread so I'll just ask about fixing my black screen issue. I'm sure it's been covered previously but it's kind of hard to look through the whole thing.
I'm running v9.9 on my Inspiron 1525 windows 7 32-bit. Been playing Dissidia 012 for a while on it without too much difficulty and decided to boot up WoL to see how it looked. When it gets to the opening menu the screen simply goes black. I press the X button and I hear stuff happening but can't see anything. I assume there's an easy/not so easy fix for this, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had the problem thus far. I also wanted to get this going because I wanted to attempt using the patch that's been made to fix the lag issues present in the games animations. I don't know if it's possible on the emulator, but I was hoping to figure out how to do it. If anyone has any information I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks. |
