Logitech controller
The ppsspp dose not seem to acknowledge my Logitech USB controller for some reason. I have tried switching between direct input and xinput. If I need to download a later version or something please let me know to do so.

RE: Logitech controller
Am I correct in assuming you're on Windows? If so, open control panel and search for "USB Game controller" without the quotes, and make sure under Game Controller Settings -> Advanced that your controller is set to be the preferred device for "legacy" programs. Does your controller work in other games and emulators?
If that fails, you can try ZeroX4's AntiMicro thread, I guess (though it'd be preferred to help us solve whatever bug you might be having, should it come down to it..using a third party program is silly). 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Logitech controller
I went to my control panel, wet to settings, then advanced, and it said that it was the device used for older program(which is what I assume you mean by "legacy") It works just fine with every other emulator I have but this one wont even acknowledge it's existence. I'm on a widows 8 desk top and other than that the emulator works fine with the exception of this one issue.
I'll look for the anti micro thread but if there is any further assistance you can provide please do so. |

RE: Logitech controller
Maybe try restarting with pad unplugged and plug it back as xinput, then don't use hardware switch at all.
Xinput is superior anyway, the only reason I'm still using the switch, is because it allows me to swap between 2 different configs in ppsspp quickly, but I'm on win 7 x64, so it might be less problematic. Also the trick is somewhat obsolete anyway since you could use per-game ini files via command line options, I'm just kind of lazy since all I need is 2 different configs for the right analog as the rest is always best as it is. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |
