Snapdragon 800 Vs Tegra 4
Sorry in advance, if this isn't the write place to post. I'm also going to say sorry, in-case this is a re-post; I tried searching for tegra 4 but nothing came up.
I've been using PPSSPP on my Dual-core 1.5 GHz Cortext-A9 (Huawei P1) for the last couple of months and it has been great. I'm thinking about upgrading, but I can't decide between Tegra 4 and Snapdragon 800. According to "system-on-a-chip" The tegra 4 is lacking OpenCL & OpenGL ES 3.0. Would that affect performance? Besides calls, the new phone is going to be used exclusively for PPSSPP so I'd like to choose the best CPU that I can. |

RE: Snapdragon 800 Vs Tegra 4
Tegra 4 still reigns supreme. I have both and performance is far better with the nvidia chip.

RE: Snapdragon 800 Vs Tegra 4
Although the tegra 4 is lacking OpenGL ES 3.0, The speed is good. Some games cannot show the graphics correctly like Saint Seiya Omega, Street Supremacy.
I'm looking forward to the Tegra K1 tablet. I hope I can get it on Christmas. |
