Save states for Nook HD?

I'm using a nook HD+ using ppsspp emulator. works great.

But I'm curious how to actually use save state on this format, or can you not? There's no options button or tab while playing a game so I didn't know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, is there a menu or back button? Normally that would open the savestate menu.

On some platforms (iOS for example) we enable an extra onscreen button by default. In the settings, before starting the game, you can enable this button under Controls (customize the layout iirc.)
