Custom BGMs
Does PPSSPP have a means of implementing custom soundtracks? Games such as G Gen Overworld recognise MP3 files on a memory stick on a real PSP and can incorporate it into the game soundtrack, but I don't know how to do that with the emulator. I've tried tinkering around with creating filestructures (i.e. creating a "GAME/MUSIC/" etc. folder under memstick in the same way that you're supposed to with a memory stick) but I haven't had any luck. Has anyone else cracked this problem, or is it something that has yet to be implemented?

i doubt this will be implemented, it is a psp emulator as in playing psp games, and thats it.
it would be a waste of work for devs to get this kind of stuff going, it is hard as it is and they cant really use more work, especially if it is as small as this for a specific game. *~* You can get the weeny out of the war, but you cannot get the war out of the weeny *~* [email protected] - 8gb ddr3 - gtx 970 - windows 7 *~* i am really good at English, but it isn't my native language :3 |

Let's not be hasty here; the OP is referring to functionality built-in to some games.
OP: It probably varies by game, but try something like memstick/PSP/GAME/MUSIC. Think of the memstick folder as your PSP memory stick's root. Actually all games that have this function check ms0:/MUSIC not ms0:/PSP/GAME/MUSIC.

I'm not sure if the emulator currently implements all of the mp3 stuff properly, so that might explain it.

I think the emulator needs to support the function that calls this external path. Doesn't sound like a big deal.

There is a build of PPSSPP that already support the Custome BGM by Orphis.
