Make sure "CHEAT.DB" is in ppsspp>memstick>PSP folder. AND that CHEAT.DB has the codes for your game. OR under the same folder, just make a new text document and rename it with the game's code (usually starts with ULES or ULUS or ULJM) then change the file name extension from .txt to .ini. Put your cheat codes in that file. (06-11-2014 11:58 PM)masaki Wrote: Sorry, i'm newbie here. Hmm... Maybe they just don't work with PPSSPP. Unfortunately, it looks like you can make any changes to the ini while ppsspp is in the cheats menu. As soon as you hit back, whatever is enabled/disabled in the ppsspp cheat menu gets written to the text file. |

I suppose you still have to go to the game from cheats menu BEFORE you edit that .ini file. Then go to cheats menu again to apply what you edited. That way, whatever you edited in .ini won't be rewritten by whatever is originally in your cheats menu (in short, it won't go back prior to your edit). RE: CwCheat Support
Been browsing through this to find the solution to my current problem with the 9.8+ build.
Iv'e been trying to use my cheats for MH3rdPortable (Monster Hunter) but for some reason when I create my .ini cheats file using word and having it in the proper directories; the game won't load any of the cheats. *I also run PPSSPP on Windows 7 I shall list the problems step by step. >Create .ini file with loaded with the cheatcodes for MH3rdP >Run PPSSPP 0.9.8 (directory: C:/ppsspp/memstick/PSP/cheats) >Load Game Data/Character >In-Game >Open Menu >Cheats >See no cheats to enable or anything. I have everything turned on properly. Cheats Enabled, etc. Iv'e been searching for hours upon hours now and still have found no solution. Can someone shed some light on this situation please? *All MH3rdP Codes in ".ini" file is NOT attached to this post. |

@shougami
Check the first post. If your cheat list is empty, but your INI is full, move your ppsspp directory to something like C:\PPSSPP. Dont use My Documents or Desktop folders. |

How do I use cheats on PPSSPP 0.9.8
I would like to know how to make cheats and how to enable them in-game. I've looked for video and websites, but I never found anything on the current version of PPSSPP.
