How to use the pad?

Hello, everyone.

I wonder if I could use any kind of remote or controller (like a Xbox remote, or something... ) in order to manipulate the emulator's constrols, because it is a pain trying to use the keyboard to play Monter Hunter.

You can use any gamepad that your system can handle

Personally, I use a wired PS3/PC gamepad to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Mapping "Dpad right" and "Dpad left" on my right analog stick is just perfect

How to use your Xbox 360 controller/any controller with USB connector EXCEPT PS3 controllers on PPSSPP:
1) Plug it in.
2) Go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers.
3) Find your controller, right-click it then click game controller settings. Click properties on newly opened window. TEST YOUR CONTROLLER!
4) If it's working, open your PPSSPP. Go to Game Settings>Control Mapping. Assign the corresponding controller buttons to PPSSPP controls. DONE.

How to use your PS3 controller on PPSSPP:
1) Download and install MotioninJoy software. Follow the instructions on their website on how to sync your PS3 controller to your PC.
2) Do steps 2-4 from the Xbox 360 controller instructions above. DONE.

Hmm... Can't really say anything about Linux since I never had one. Except Android I guess.
So yeah, good luck connecting your controller to that.

I imagine it would work, but I am not sure. So, you know, if you know about any brand or that stuff it would be helpful xD

You can search in this subforum, maybe someone have already succeeded in making something similar to what you want to do with your Linux distribution
