Question about the PSP's internal clock
As far as I understand the PSP had a internal clock that not only showed you the time but also added some features to games. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd as an example checked for the time when you started it up and assigned you to different charm tables.
The problem is PPSSPP has no PSP main menu. You always start games right away and the clock always seems to start at 00:00 wich means Monster Hunter always assigns you to the same table. So my main question: Is there a way to manually set the PPSSPP PSP's time? All I found was centered around the time format wich is not what I'm looking for. I scanned the config itself aswell. |

RE: Question about the PSP's internal clock
@Homo87 Talia means different clock;p.
@Talia as far as I know and confirmed by game which does have a real life clock/calendar as a feature, at least on windows, time is set to system time when the game runs, however it can desync later on if you don't have 100% game speed(ie by using turbo). Also savestates will keep previous system time. AFAIK there's no way to set system time manually inside ppsspp directly, unless you find the address where game keeps the track of it and force it with cw cheats to some value. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Question about the PSP's internal clock
Thanks Luna! I think this is the second time you helped me out. I will do some testing and refrain from savestating and using turbo. Do you remember wich game had such a calendar?

RE: Question about the PSP's internal clock
Well I know of two K-ON! Houkago Live(the clock has to be unlocked first I think) and Hello Kitty Puzzle Party(this one has it from the start). Oh and by starting from 00:00 do you mean the log? Because for me, on windows(7 x64) the log always starts from current time. If it starts from 0 maybe it fails to get time:C. If you mean the clock inside MH games that's just showing how long you played so yea it always starts from 0 when you start the game, it's normal.
Edit: I recall Project Diva games should also have real life clock, how could I forgot about them. @_@ /yup in diva's room there's a real life clock/date. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |
