I have read alot on the internet that the Adreno drivers are really bad.

Will this change and what can the Snapdragon owners do themselves?

Other than that you can only complain to qcom, but I don´t think this will help.

powervr sgx544 mp3, mali 450 and tegra 4 are good gpu for playing ppsspp... or wait for qualcomm to release snapdragon 805 adreno 420 device

A hit to their bottom line is what will mostly make them add more resources to their driver development. Which unfortunately is abysmal at the moment. I'm eagerly awaiting something with the Nvidia K1 chipset myself.
