DualShock 4 Support?
Hello, i was wondering if PPSSPP supports the DualShock 4.
Because i connected my DS4 with my PC via USB, my PC recognizes it but i can't use it in PPSSPP.

Don't use motioninjoy, ever (it has ads, phones home, and causes BSODs on some PCs). Use http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...Controller instead. It has preliminary DS4 support.

The MotioninJoy driver itself isn't that bad but the program is terrible. You could download the driver, uninstall the program, then use a program called Better DS3. It's an offline alternative to DS3 Tool.

@CrimsonFangX

The thing is (and I'm inclined to agree with TheDax on this), even after you uninstall the program, there are still remnants of the program/drivers littered all around your system which require manual removal.

It's like a parasite and it's hard to to get rid of it completely once you've installed it. Complete removal involves scouring your Registry for entries, heading to the command prompt and wiping the driver entries clean via the use of the "pnputil" utility that comes with Windows, and checking Device Manager for any other remainders of the drivers.

It's a bloody mess and if you happen to have actual 360 pads side by side with the Motioninjoy drivers, their functionality could be wrecked too.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

RE: DualShock 4 Support?
Im using sgs4 with usb otg cable that lets me plug ps3 controller directly to phone. The wire was only $1.50 on amazon. I mapped out all buttons and both analog sticks. Little to no lag from controller playing burnout legends at full speed with no sound. I turned sound off because the song tracks in game kept skipping themselves after a few seconds of play. You could also turn songs off with in game menu and still have sfx. Hope it helps. -96XJ-

RE: DualShock 4 Support?
Getting back to the topic, I too would like some DS4 support.

Using Scarlet.Crush's DS4 drivers, every other program uses it perfectly fine but no luck in PPSSPP. Is Xpadder my only option here?

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.
