RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Unfortunately this game still chokes so bad with any form of texture scaling to the extent that it can freeze up windows (I couldn't even get task manager open to end process because nothing will respond when the emulator starts eating 100% of both cores!). I think the emulator should never let that happen but what can you do.

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Save the clear data and if you have a save before entering Orbonne you will unlock some extra things in rendevouz.
The important point is: THIS SAVE CLEAR DATA WILL NOT TAKE YOU BACK TO WORLD MAP and is shared for any other save file. |

Theonyxpheonix: "I can now see the map and things play, albeit slowly, on Android v0.9.6-436-g8239500 but the screen goes black when you try to access the menu (you can see the menu options and some of the text appears in white). Also the character menu music is staticky."
This. For some reason, quoting isn't working :/ Included pictures of before and after the effect. Ver. 9.7.2, Android 4.1.3, Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I'm using buffered rendering, so no, it's not that . Anyone know or can suggest a fix? Couldnt figure out logging :/ EDIT: Have confirmed that the same problem exists when I run on Windows x64. Same version, 1.6 ghz first gen i7, Mobility Radeon 5800 series. I think we can rule out specs in this case. I also tried multiple .iso files. The emulator just seems to not be able to render it at all. |

RE: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
W7x64
Not the newest PC out there but can efficiently play Patapon w/o any issues(using no rendering buffer). v0.9.8 [Buffer-less rendering] Breaks into black screen when the intro movie is supposed to end or if You skip it. Can hear the cursor moving but I think there are some logic issues too, not only just graphics. [Any buffered rendering mode] Green texture borders, slowdown and crackling sound. No green borders with v0.9.8-135. Sound and slowdown are still an issue. Still much better than jPcSP. Now this entry from PPSSPP automated builds feed makes me curious: Quote:v0.9.7.2-31-gdc5d179-|-Unknown W. Brackets-|-2014-02-18 08:23:44-|-No build-|-Actually use the resample buffer.Fixes static in Final Fantasy Tactics music. Why wasn't it merged or built? |
