@Gurlok - Updates we download from psn are compressed and encrypted with update keys which we simply don't have and that might actually be the only problem as it updates "successfully" but with incorrect data hence breaking the game. Cannot imagine any emulator-side workaround for that.
Similar problem touches MHp3rd(the non HD version) or the extra dlc files that come with each GE2 update, we just don't have the keys to decrypt some things, that's where the real psp has to be used.

I see, that's a shame. My PSP is getting old enough, her battery is literally dying, so I was thinking about a solution to avoid the use of a real psp in order to update our dumps, thanks for clarifing this to me though .

Android Kitkat immersive mode has been restored, now with a setting to enable it. Not enabled by default yet.

is it possible to fix the immersive mode cancelled when you press volume key? you need to reboot the app to make immersive mode work again

is it possible to have the emulator take log file pics with just pressing f12 similar to ingame screenshots to help out the devs and have it go to the same folder as ingame pics - (i.e bring up game take snapshot (f12) then bring up log file with (ctrl L) to fullscreen and take snapshot of that with (f12) aswell.

Any chance for resizeable SDL window (in linux), at least as an ini option or cmdline parameter. (it would be nice for video recording.. for example my pc cant handle ppsspp 1080p + recording, but 720p (1280x720) would be nice for youtube )

a way to go full screen without skrewing up the aspect ratio would be much appreciated. and reduce the audio static. grates on my nerves so much. though i assume you guys are working on that anyway but still thought i'd request it.

So how do you do it, where's the option? Talking about Windows version (ppsspp-v0.9.7.1-19-g2064bcd-windows-x86)

so you can let's say... rotate to portrait mode (like JPCSP) and play some rare games that require this such as "Star Soldier"?

Efendija, that option is for mobile platforms only. It only accounts for the entire screen turning, not rotating the emulator's screen so that you can play pinball/vertical 2d shooter games. That has yet to be added.
