I still not quite understand how this core creation for aragami materials works tho

anyways, I saw the "High Speed Hannibal" in the official website, it looks as if the Hannibal change its flame colour from reddish-orange to purple or the Corrosive Hannibal turns white. Still, beating Hannibal in GE2 seem much easier compared to GEB thanks to the Blood Arts.

Apparently the 1.20 update fixes the missions always crashing, although subsequent missions still crash but at least it means PPSSPP can play God Eater 2's DLC missions now.

Special notes :

1) for now, playing the DLC missions (and the updated ISO) requires you to modify the official build's code slightly by changing

currentStack.start = userMemory.Alloc(stackSize, fromTop, (std::string("stack/") + nt.name).c_str());

to

currentStack.start = userMemory.Alloc(stackSize, true, (std::string("stack/") + nt.name).c_str());

in Core/HLE/sceKernelThread.cpp.
this modification is a hack so it won't be pulled into the official build, but if you want to play the updated ISO now it's possible with it.

2) your God Machine will look graphically buggy but it still functions normally.

For examples of DLC mission clearing, I tested the DLC mission アンチノミー and finished with 2:13 SSS+ perfect.

2x Guboro Guboro Datenroku (Fire)
1x Kuadoriga Datenroku

@CPkmn nice news, btw if you're on windows would you be so kind to upload your special build for this game?(just the exe)
I don't have any pc with VS under hand for a bit and I kind of don't want to install it and the required sdk's just for this.(althrough it's tempting ;o)

On official build I guess the crash is still expected shortly after moving with the updated game:c

it's why you need to add a small hack to the official build to make it workable. sorry, I originally put that note in between my screenshots so you might not have noticed...just changed it to before the screenshots.

I can't really distribute my build since it contains more than the tweak I posted previously and I don't really want to upload my modified source code (required by GPL to distribute pre-built versions) but if you can't do the modification yourself, you can find a link to a modified build which supports the 1.2 update on chinese site. Unfortunately I can't directly link to the page since it contains a copy of the full ISO.

Ok that's understandable, google is universal link for everything;o. If you're "gdmk" then I think I got it, cannot test it yet as the site is very slow, might be just me being far or it has huge traffic at the moment, but it doesn't even want to load properly yet. I'll just keep trying.
Anyway thanks, this will save me a few gb off VS install^_^.

im stuck in Gil's episode 7 where he need to upgrade Shirogane weapon to Rank 5 (is it the yellow rank or the purple rank?)

So, I need to find material to upgrade it. What material i need to get to upgrade Shirogane blade in order to pass episode 7?

Mine works fine

But you will still crash for every subsequent mission. It has a problem with the memory allocation of the game, which overloads and makes the emu crash while loading the mission after you done another mission.

Do you use v1.00? because V1.10 and V1.20 (tho, V1.20 will work like v1.00 after make some tweak in the emu) makes the game unplayable right now.

I don't think you understood the context (or looked at the date) of that post. Originally this game was in the "games that don't boot" forum and obviously that was not right.

Well, v1.20 works almost like v1.00...the God Machine looks buggy but other than that it's the same.

i saw weapon turn into predator form when u swing. is that the one u mentioned buggy looking God machine?

@wanda it still crash.... and CPKmn did mention that V1.20 is almost work as V1.00 did he?

anyways, I hope that there is got to be the way to fix these crash soon...


oh btw it seems that Blood Arts for a certain moves of melee weapons level up based on how many critical hit you make during a mission. Interesting

Oh btw GE2 somehow have performance regression on the latest build. It really makes the games barely playable during gameplay.
