New $149 Acer Tab powered by Intel?
A new tablet was announced at CES. The Acer Iconia A1-830.
Press Release. I don't bother taking much stock in what CNET says, since they are too busy drooling over their iPads. But I have to admit.. love the new Acer's design. Even though they stole it from Apple. Anyway, I currently have a Galaxy Tab 2. It seems to be less than ideal when it comes to PPSSPP, so I was curious if this tab would be a step up. It's got almost the same specs as the older Acer A1-810, but it changes out the CPU. 1.6GHz Intel Atom Clover Trail+ Z2560. 1 GB of RAM. I'm tempted to sell my tab, and upgrade to this when it's released. I'm just concerned, not knowing how well PPSSPP will run on an Intel Atom based CPU.. Thoughts? At $149.. it's so tempting. It might be worth it just to have a 4:3 ratio, and the larger screen.. Devices: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 - Stock 4.1.1 PC: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz AMD Radeon HD 5450 |

I hope it doesn't have dedicated Intel graphics.
