Android: Reducing non-buffered rendering frameskip flashing.
It seems the flashing is partially caused by the on screen touch controls, disable them and use game keyboard instead
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...oard&hl=en and map it as an xbox controller, you'll see that the screen flicker is reduced |

it may or may not be reduced, but there are still a reasonable amount of flickering when using a Gamepad. Doesn't seem to work for me

RE: Android: Reducing non-buffered rendering frameskip flashing.
This is for using with the gamekeyboard touch controls instead of ppsspp's, using a real gamepad won't make any difference, ppsspp's touch controls have to be disabled though, it probably has something to do with how gamekeyboard touch controls overlay refreshes to the screen which helps with ppsspp screen flicker.
Another thing I noticed is the unthrottle control with ppsspp's touch control only increases framerate whilst it's held down, whilst the gamekeyboard L2 button shows an onscreen prompt of speed Alternative or Standard and locks it to the the Alternative speed percentage. |
