Well you see most romanians live under the impression that if you buy a PC and pay for a internet connection the rest is free.

I'm not really active on these forums but I've been pretty bored this evening and ended up in the "Off-topic" sections of PPSSPP forums, and here I am reading this interesting, really interesting thread.

There are huge difference on this planet depending in which country you're living...
I live in Belgium (since most people have no idea it's even a country, here's some geography : Small country situated in Western Europe between Germany, France, The Netherlands and the UK.

Here we have good connections, but the speeds and prices are way too high compared to our neighbours (France and Germany for instance).

I got this for 30€ (~40$) /month :

Ping : 30-40 ms
Down Speed : 2 MB/s
Up Speed : 180 KB/s

Why dont you try use ookla speed test again and test it with servers in other countries, you'll be suprises those server in other country has higher ping than your own local server.

That's normal, the ping depends on the distance between you and the server ! ^^

yeah like the ping from my country to german's server is like around 400ms while the ping from my country to LA's server are around 200ms

I did some test and I got 399ms from my country to yours (I chose Kuala Lumpur server) and 172ms to my country to Los Angeles Smile
