RE: Crimson Gem Saga
Using 0.9.5 (on android) from the Google Play Store:
- Sound is a bit choppy but tolerable (mostly during dialogue/speech) but definitely improved over previous versions - Slight drops in FPS (especially when there's a lot happening on screen) :/ (also present in Tales of Eternia ULES-00176) - During battles and transitioning from one area to another, screen flashes for a few seconds then returns to normal Haven't really got that far into the game but I'll let you know if there are anymore issues but the game is playable (with a few gremlins that need squashing but a definite improvement over 0.9.1) |

RE: Crimson Gem Saga
I'm on Linux Ubuntu 12.04, using the latest angelXwind build.
Game seems to work fine. Have music, voices, intro movie. Only issue so far is that the there are pink, green, and black outlines around sprites. You can see what I mean in the attached screenshot. The screen also flickers a bit (much less with buffered rendering, but still every now and then), but it's not that bad. |

RE: Crimson Gem Saga
Hmm, weird. I tried:
Rendering Resolution: no impact. Texture Filtering - Force Linear: no impact. Rendering Mode - Read Framebuffers to Memory (CPU): no impact Texture Scaling - Bicubic, 2x: happens, only way I can make it happen. Hardware Transform: no impact. Postprocessing Shader: no impact. Not sure what to say. Aside from the bad fades it's working for me... What kind of video card do you have? If ATI, maybe your video card is "forcing" some sort of texture upscaling, do you have "Catalyst AI" on? -[Unknown] |

RE: Crimson Gem Saga
Yes it's a very old ATI Radion x1250 and catalyst AI was on. However I just tested it again with it off and the results were the same as they were with it on.

RE: Crimson Gem Saga
@mr.chya
The solution for those pink/green outlines for AMD/ATi cards is to force the rendering resolution from Auto to 1x. Any rendering resolution higher than 1x (e.g. 2x, 3x etc) will cause those pink/green outlines to appear on the sprites, portraits during dialogs etc. That worked for me at least on my own ATI card (specs listed in sig). PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

RE: Crimson Gem Saga
I normally play in 1x resolution and it's still there. I only set it to auto when taking screenshots so you could clearly see them.
