Latest Build: Story Missions not showing up in God Eater Burst
Hi, I'm using the latest build from buildbot g3b40705 just now. So I tested it by playing God Eater Burst.
So, with the default PPSSPP setting I got around 80% speed during gameplay with Frameskip off. But when I tried to go to the archive to see how the FPS is during cutscenes, it won't load. Instead it goes back the archive menu as though the cutscene has ended. Using Android, CPU is Qualcomm 1.5GHz Quadcore with Adreno 320 GPU. Edit1: seems like normal cutscenes from the story still plays. But everything from the Archives just either won't play or cause the emulator to crash. Edit2: found out that the story mission won't show up anymore. This has been confirmed after comparing this build and the stable one. This is a screenshot of the Mission selection screen using the 0.9.5 stable build from Playstore. This one is the same Mission selection screen using the latest 0.9.5-g3b40705 Please noted that both of the screenshot refer to the same save point in the game. No save state were use. |

RE: God Eater Burst
It's actually perfect on 9.5 but... Sometimes when u enter a mission it crashes. It's not happening all the time. You can try fast forward on some loading scenes, that's also helpful to go to a mission without any problems, but again not all the time. It's strange though.

RE: God Eater Burst
Didn't try with latest build, but completed 3 mission on 9.5 ( 2 tutorial and 1 real ).Crashed at the 2nd tutorial mission when loading, But you can easily restart and continue from where u crashed. And FAST FORWARD (Pressing tab button) actually helps to pass loading screen without crashing. But sometimes...
BTW, while i was playing "fast memory" option was checked. Didn't know until i quitted the game... And yes, as Ritori said we should save our comments for the game's own thread --- Favorite games: Monster Hunter Series --- |

RE: Gods Eater Burst (Dont mistake for God Eater Burst)
I guess the fail to load the save data from the PSP on the emulator PPSSPP
is because "God's Eater Burst" encrypts the save data the moment you make a save in your real PSP. Search in google and you will see this is also the reason why the save data can't be converted from the JPN version to continue playing on the USA version, Because it's encrypted and it's useless... This is also why I could not import my USA save data to continue on GEB 2... My guess is PPSSPP can't handle the encrypted save data, I say this because all other PSP game I have tested save and load data just fine and only GEB & GEB 2 have this failed save data problem... |
