Emulating an emulator doesn't sound fun.
Might try it though. |

But 0.6.6 version brings a huge performance increase in games like Cladun (now is perfectly playable at 47.2 fps and no more graphics glitches in-game with Nokia N8). Also Disgaea: Afternoon Of Darkness now seems playable too, showing logo, menu, intro, scenarios with characters and 3d elements, dialogues, fights and save option with 29.5 fps (Slowdown at various elements and effects on screen) using Nokia N8 (previous versions only shows a black screen). |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
i have an idea, i know it will not be implemented soon but it is a nice idea.
uhm ppsspp is installed on the PC and the smartphone, in the smartphone navigate to settings , set remote play: on the PC should be running( wake-up pc function can be implemented, found few codes from searching thanks to google ) and ppsspp will be opened when you turn remote play on from the smartphone, when you press load game it will show the recently played games directory like usual but from the PC files , requires internet "WiFi preferred", since i have a very good and fast WLAN and LAN this should do it, so the buttons are visible as usual in the smartphone but ppsspp uses the PC's GPU and CPU to run games which will increase compatibility . like streaming frames from ppsspp on the PC to ppsspp on the smartphone , like watching a video saved on a PC from the phone, very smooth with WiFi. there are already some softwares which allow streaming ( not rdp protocol ) the desktop to the smartphone and i know an available software to draw virtual buttons on the smartphone's screen and i can map desktop buttons to the virtual buttons. in short my idea is to stream ppsspp frames to the smartphone, this will make games that are fully playable with full speed on windows run at full speed on the smartphones. |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Sure but if you are remote playing, I'd be playing something like Wii or PC games.
A lot of software exists for this purpose already. On my tablet I use Splashtop THD. On Symbian, I use SymRDP+. |
