(11-25-2013 08:10 PM)nightmesh Wrote: (...)Now what do you mean by not needing tunngle. About not needing tungle I ment exactly that you don't need any 3rd party programs to connect to the server from other pc not connected to your pc by lan. Tungle/Hamachi and alike are generally used for games/programs that have only lan multiplayer they get two online pc's into one virtual lan, when you have full server that's not needed at all;o. If you would have 2 pc's as long as firewall/router doesn't stop it from connecting you can run server on one pc + ppsspp on same pc(server is ultra lightweight so don't worry about it;p), and on the other pc set second PPSSPP which should be able to connect with the first one. Just have to make sure you set unique mac addresses on those two ppsspp's. Also for server address, on the pc which has server+ppsspp you can leave it as "localhost", or use your wan/lan ip it doesn't really matter so much, on the other ppsspp's just WAN/LAN IP(depending if the other pc is on your lan or not) of the pc you have the server on, that's pretty much it. Not counting prayers for more games support ofc.^^ http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

I fear we should make a pull request to Henrik's repository with his changes (and yours)... RE: Online Support (PRO Online)
Guess the whole thing isn't too great on windows yet, as mentioned earlier, after testing other(non working) games even MoHu had connection problems for me^^, restarting ppsspp helps through.
I fear how much cleaning this project has ahead before being merged, it'll also have to be updated for new ppsspp changes(rebased was the word I guess);o. ============== BTW no clue if this will be usefull for anyone, but I made vs2010 project out of server src, in case somebody wants to mess around it and is used more to vs, I'll just share it here. Resulting executable is alot bigger, but it includes sqlite3 library, so no need for the extra dll.:] Resulting binary works same good as the one we already have thanks to Kyhel, wouldn't really call it better in any way althrough it takes slightly less memory. Oh and build has lots of warnings, it's mostly just helpful spam about strncpy being potentially unsafe, but I didn't really wanted to change anything. Download: src & binary ~ Notice: if you're normal, non adventurous user, just to be safe ignore it and download the server file posted earlier by Kyhel^^. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Online Support (PRO Online)
I have been doing some testing with MHFU and found the ports needed to do quests with people. It seems each player you play with has a different port starting from 20001 then it increments by 1 every extra person you have so if you want to play with 3 people besides yourself you need to forward 20001, 20002, 20003 and these ports MUST be forwarded by whoever starts the initial quest. So if any of your friends want to choose the quest they have to forward the above ports so the people getting it from the quest board can connect to the person hosting the quest.

I have downloaded ppsspp 32 bit and server for win OS from dropbox, which actually I think is an obsolete build I tested the emu with MHP3rdHD and MHFU and it will just crashed whenever I enter online guilhall. # changing server IP address between localhost and LAN (e.g. 192.168.0.x )is the same, it just crashed afterall. # even, the bad thing is going to online hall will always make the emu crash >.< I think it is caused by some missing files on my system that prevent me to enter guilhall/adhoc mode and then make this ppsspp crashed. #FYI : buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp build is running okay with those game. # I tested on win7 ultimate 32bit. -my outdated testing rig- Intel Core2Quad [email protected] Shappire HD7750 1GB DDR5 contact me at: [email protected] facebook.com/love.grimangel |

RE: Online Support (PRO Online)
@betrayedAngel The 32 bits build IS broken, i've deleted it from my dropbox folder. It's hard for me to test on 32 bits since i have to build on a virtual machine and then transfer it to my pc, so there won't be 32 bits version that soon i'm afraid :/
@Devlix I've just launched an local online game with my 2 computers, it looks like it also needs the 10000 port to be open in the gathering hall, try to close it and pls tell me if it is really needed or not Kyhel, French Student Thanks to all PPSSPP team for this amazing emulator !
