RE: [PC-Android][V0.4]Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Extend
It was not working since the DList rewrite, and nobody had time to look at it yet. When I'm finished with my current work, I'll try to look at it since I use Project Diva to make my test. But I don't know anything about this dlist stuff yet

Well, it's specifically related to GE signals. I think it's sending the wrong data to the signal handler or something.

RE: [PC-Android][V0.4]Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Extend
This game just got a speed boost on latest git build on android.59-60fps in the tutorial song(levan polka). In other songs the game slows down to about 45-50fps when the spermy looky things flow in.

for me it's doing even better.
I consistently get 57-59 fps while playing, with an occasional drop to 50-54 fps during a few heavier parts(lots of effects on screen) but it usually jumps back to ~58 after less than a second. |

Hm... you should already know how to play this game.... anyway, giving a hint : when you see the down arrow you need to press x AND the down arrow

RE: [PC-Android][V0.4]Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Extend
did anyone ever mentioned/noticed that when vocaloid characters blinking/vocaling/rotating eyes were flickering randomly? lol (no video provided, cuz i failed to upload here. just imagine miku's eyes are bouncing very fast randomly during when she is moves her eyes )
plus the mini textures also having a glitch (white line) when setting window size to 2x to up (with picture below) PC Specifications: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, 8GB of RAM 1680x1050p 60Hz Intel i3 2100 @3.10GHz Powercolor Radeon HD 6970 (2GB, GDDR5) Smartphone Specifications: Sony Xperia S = Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8260(Dual-Core @1.5GHz Scorpion, Adreno 220, 1GB RAM) Android 4.1.2 |

Do the eyes behave if you turn off vertex cache?
That kind of glitch (the line) is unfortunately sometimes unavoidable when changing resolutions of games that were not made to handle it (except by turning off bilinear filtering entirely).. |

(02-16-2013 11:15 AM)Henrik Wrote: Do the eyes behave if you turn off vertex cache? i tried it and yea, it doesnt bounce anymore. i wonder why turning off vertex cache could stop the glitch, but since before the "GE Interrupt" problem when using Vertex Cache doesn't occur with this glitch(bouncy eyes). 1 question: does when Turning off the Vertex Cache can cause more failures/glitches/bad effects than turning it on? P.S. sorry for several edits. RE: [PC-Android][V0.4]Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Extend
Vertex cache is purely an optimization, that makes things faster and in turn might miss some changes in geometry - though we do our best to make it reliable there are some edge cases it can miss.
Turning it off can only fix glitches, not cause them. |
