Any thoughts on ART in Android 4.4 KitKat

Basically i'm asking if this will have any major impact on performance? Will modifications be a necessity for PPSSPP? Will two versions be made avalible? Davlik and ART?

I am not a developer, but as I understand ART doesn't use JIT and runs code natively.

ART sounds great but will only affect apps written in Java. PPSSPP is almost entirely C++.
