PPSSPP does not start at all (no error message)
Not Sure where to put this as there is no "Technical issues" subforum, if this is the wrong forum feel free to move it.
I´m using the latest build 0.9.1 for Windows 32 bit. My specs are: Microsoft Windows XP Intel Core i5 3.20 GHz 2 GB Ram Nvidia Quadro FX 380 (it supports openGL 2.0) My guess is that I´m missing out on a software that I need to start it, but I don´t know what I need. Maybe the XNA dev kit? |

RE: PPSSPP does not start at all (no error message)
Does not start at all? No error message? No window at all? Sounds very strange.

RE: PPSSPP does not start at all (no error message)
Does it need a runtime enviroment? Or maybe a something that everybody usually has installed (like flash)?
edith says: Just tried to put the files on a different PC and there it runs just fine. What am I missing? Also tried Administrator Mode, this is not the problem. |

RE: PPSSPP does not start at all (no error message)
It doesn't need any devkits, but it does need DirectX and the Visual C++ redists. Normally you'll receive an error message when these aren't found. Maybe there's a way to configure Windows not to show any.
Try installing these: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...x?id=13523 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...px?id=8328 DirectX I think is in Windows Update, you can try this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...aspx?id=35 Would be interested if that helps or does not help. -[Unknown] |
