no sound problem for windows
I am getting no sound. I have tried this on multiple games. I am running the windows version. I did go in and click download and install the atrac3+, but that didn't work. It is checked to be enabled in the settings. Not sure what else to do

RE: no sound problem for windows
You didn't really give us much to go on. You didn't mention what version of Windows, what games you've tried, if your speakers(or headphones) and sound card work in other applications, etc. Mind being a bit more specific?

RE: no sound problem for windows
I am using window 7. Just the default sound of the mother board. And headphones. I have tried both Assassin creed bloodlines and Final fantasy tactics.
After I do click download and install for atrac3+, is it supposed to say download and install every time I go into that page? |

RE: no sound problem for windows
I have no idea what causes your "no sound problem" since you didn't give
some specific explanation on what causes it, but here are some suggestions, I'll try my best to point out the problem. 1. First, try if your sound works on any other applications, for example do you hear your login music when booting your computer at startup? or do you hear audio when watching in Youtube or other multimedia software? 2. Is it a freshly installed OS? maybe the OS doesn't have Audio software included in the package, Try installing some audio driver like Realtek HD Audio Driver 3. Check your Headphones/Speakers wires if they're a little loose in between and in the connector part. sometimes, headphone and speaker wires (how can I explain it?) needs to be reconnected, try removing the plug and reconnect it again. I'll try to think up some more possibilities. Feel Free To Visit My Youtube Channel at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGPnfU4q12x6vEWXv4Ftq8Q/videos |

RE: no sound problem for windows
Sorry I can't give a better explanation. I don't know what causes it. Video works fine just not sound. Sound works fine on everything else. What are some of the games that don't require atrac3+?

RE: no sound problem for windows
Do you have PPSSPP muted by itself somehow? Check your sound mixer in the task tray to see.
