Most geometry is done on the gpu, as long as you enable hardware transform. In some cases (throughmode?) it's still done on the cpu, I believe.
Perhaps it would be possible to try to force a particular core, not sure. There is a setting now to put the GE processing and the CPU processing on separate cores. It causes problems in some games currently, but on Windows improves performance. I think there have been reports that it hurts performance sometimes on Android, though (the trouble is, thread synchronization just ain't free.) -[Unknown] |
