RE: windows xp for android?
Yeah, is possible. But is hard. You need creat a file with 1.5Gb on Bochs and after put in your phone. I saw a video in YouTube. I will find and post here.
Here is: Also exist this tutorial in XDA Forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre...?t=1459153 Enjoy Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636) PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro |

RE: windows xp for android?
windows 95/98 should be faster, but there's no drivers (sound, lan) support, so it's kind of pointless for gaming, it's easier to port smth from windows to android, or to use dosbox

RE: windows xp for android?
If you want to do it only for fun it's possible through x86 emulation.

RE: windows xp for android?
@Tamagotchi Look on the tutorials that I posted.
@Slamandar and @SeiRyuu He would be kidding if asked "How to run Windows 7 on Android". That is very heavy. If we can run PSP on Android, why not the Win XP? The minimum requeriments for that is, more or less, 222Mhz, 32Mb RAM, and something else. The PSP hardware is almost it. Sorry, is 233Mhz and 64Mb. As we can see here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314865 Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636) PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro |

RE: windows xp for android?
The requirements might be low, but remember that x86 is a complex beast to emulate(meaning applications will probably be slow on any phone/tablet), and you wouldn't have 3D acceleration with Bochs, so you'd have to use software rendering in games that support it. I could be wrong, but I don't think Bochs has a JIT/dynarec either, so it'd be even slower(that's not to say "fast" interpreters can't exist, but few are written in such a way).

The whole concept of RISC to CISC and CISC to RISC convertion/translation/recompilation is a tough job in general because is a completely different philosophy of computing.

RE: windows xp for android?
I don't mean that the performance will be the same. I mean that if we can run PSP, we also can run the Windows XP.
Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636) PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro |
